Detectives are working to determine what happened to three specific items homicide victim Keon Brantley left home with the night of April 15: a hoodie, a backpack and a pair of shoes.

Investigators have determined Keon walked away his home in a Harbison area apartment complex right before 9:00 that Saturday night.

He was wearing a solid burgundy hoodie, a backpack and carrying a large box. That box contained an AK-47 rifle. Keep in mind the coloring in the video above is different because the footage was shot at night.

We can track his movements through most of his apartment complex’s parking lot.

We think he circled around some other apartment complexes to get to the wooded area where he was killed.

When firefighters and other responders arrived there were no signs of Keon’s hoodie, back pack or his shoes.

The backpack is black with white markings. The shoes are Nike “foamposites,” size 8.

If you’ve seen these items or if you saw Keon Saturday night…please call Crimestoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
