Lexington County Sheriff’s Department detectives have asked for the public’s help as they investigate an armed robbery.
Surveillance video from the Circle K convenience store in the 2300 block of Augusta Road shows a black male suspect robbing the store about 2:00 Wednesday morning.
Investigators said the suspect, who was apparently armed with a semi-automatic pistol, left the store and fled on foot across the parking lot of a nearby business. He’s described as about 6’ tall and 25-35 years old.
According to detectives, a car that was seen leaving the Circle K parking lot shortly before the robbery might be associated with the suspect.
