Arrest warrants have been issued for two suspects in an armed robbery at a Midlands convenience store.
Bradley Devon Brown, 21, and Michael Donny Knowles, 23, robbed the City Gas convenience store in the 1300 block of Bush River Road on May 26, according to arrest warrants.
“Based on information detectives gathered during our investigation, Knowles went into the store armed with a pistol and demanded money while Brown waited outside in a getaway car,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “They’re both in the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center on other charges and will be brought back to Lexington County to face the armed robbery charges soon.”
According to Koon, Brown and Knowles will also be charged with possessing a weapon during a violent crime.
