LCSD

With the end of summer right around the corner, law enforcement agencies around the country are preparing for one last opportunity to connect with the community before school starts back up.

National Night Out is being observed Tuesday, August 5. Some neighborhoods participate on other dates.

All the events held to mark the occasion provide a chance to promote relationships between neighborhoods and those in uniform. Not only does National Night Out give our LCSD family a chance to meet yours, it gives us an opportunity to explain what we do on a day-to-day basis. That understanding is crucial for deputies and citizens alike. Together, we can make Lexington County a safer place to live and work.

Neighborhoods across our county host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much more.
