LEXINGTON, S.C. – Lexington County deputies have arrested a woman accused of stealing and damaging cars at a used car lot.

Da’Niyah Shanesse Fulks, 20, is charged with three counts of grand larceny, two counts of breaking into motor vehicles, and one count each of malicious injury to real property and criminal conspiracy, according to arrest warrants.
“We received a report about a suspicious vehicle near a dealership and body shop in the 2500 block of South Lake Drive early Thursday morning,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “When a deputy got there, he noticed a car with significant front end damage.”
The deputy was able to connect the car back to the dealership during his investigation, according to Koon.
“He determined the car reported as suspicious was driven through a gate at the dealership,” Koon said. “He eventually found four other cars with damage indicating someone had tried to steal them.”
Koon said, while the investigation was underway at the dealership, deputies pulled a car over reported stolen from the same dealership.
“Fulks was in that car, along with four minors,” Koon said. “She has also been charged with four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.”
Deputies arrested Fulks on the traffic stop. She is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center. After taking the minors into custody during the traffic stop, deputies transported them to the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice, according to Koon.
