A Lexington County man charged with murder in connection to a fatal shooting last month turned himself in early Wednesday morning.
Williams is accused of shooting Derrick James Jones multiple times on Hampton Road May 30, according to the arrest warrant. Williams was served with two additional warrants Wednesday.
“Williams is also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime and unlawful possession of a weapon,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said.
Williams is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
