A Lexington County deputy has arrested a man convicted for the attempted murder of a Florida law enforcement officer and wanted for violating conditions of his parole.

“Deputy Adrian Robinson responded to a domestic dispute on Ball Park Road in Gaston when he encountered Stacey Dawson Guntorious,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “While investigating the domestic dispute, Deputy Robinson determined Guntorious was wanted in Florida on an outstanding warrant for parole violation.”

According to Koon, Guntorious was charged with third degree domestic violence in connection with the original call. He is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center while he awaits extradition to Florida.
