Deputies are searching for a Swansea man wanted for obstructing justice during an active homicide investigation.
“We’d like to talk with Daiquan Lamont Brooks about the April 29 fatal shooting of Ryan Williams on Meadowfield Drive in Gaston,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “We’re confident he can provide valuable information to us that will help our investigation.”
According to Koon, investigators are canvassing a wide area in their search for Brooks.
“We hope anyone who can point us to where he might be will come forward and share the tip with CrimeStoppers,” Koon said.
According to Koon, tipsters don’t have to share their name when they call CrimeStoppers at 888-SC-CRIME (888-274-6372). A reward of up to $1,000 is offered to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest.
