LEXINGTON, S.C. – Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon is pleased to announce the following promotions and transfers.
Joseph Andaloro has transferred to investigator in major crimes. Andaloro previously worked as an investigator in property crimes. He has been serving the county since 2011.
Tony Branham has been promoted to investigator in the crime reduction unit. Branham previously worked as a patrol deputy. He has been serving the county since 2025.
Samuel Brazell has been promoted to master deputy in the traffic division. Brazell previously worked as a patrol deputy in the traffic division. He has been serving the county since 2021.
Bradley Byrd has been promoted to investigator in property crimes. Byrd previously worked as a resident deputy in Gaston. He has been serving the county since 2020.
Gianni Cibella has transferred to a patrol deputy. Cibella previously worked as deputy in Judicial Services. Cibella has been serving the county since 2024.
Brianna Cotton has been promoted to a school resource officer. Cotton previously worked as a patrol deputy. She has been serving the county since 2025.
Benjamin Lopez has been promoted to senior deputy – Crisis Intervention Officer. Lopez previously worked as a patrol deputy. He has been serving the county since 2023.
Brandon Mills has transferred to investigator in the fugitive task force. Mills previously worked as an investigator with the crime reduction unit. He has been serving the county since 2021.
Scott Purdy has been promoted to sergeant of the narcotics unit. Purdy previously worked as an investigator in the crime reduction unit. He has been serving the county since 2012.
Nick Sauer has been promoted to senior deputy in the traffic division. Sauer previously worked as a deputy in the traffic division. He has been serving the county since 2025.
Alania Spohn has transferred to investigator in the crime reduction unit. Spohn previously worked as an investigator in property crimes. She has been serving the county since 2022.
Morgan Taylor has been promoted to resident deputy in Gilbert. Taylor previously worked as a patrol deputy. He has been serving the county since 2025.
Reece Turner has been promoted to master deputy in patrol. Turner previously worked as a patrol deputy. He has been serving the county since 2023.
