LEXINGTON, S.C. – Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon is pleased to announce the following promotions and transfers.
Trevor Campbell has been promoted to sergeant in detention. Campbell previously worked as a master detention deputy. He has been serving the county since 2019.
Carleisha Gilliam has been promoted to sergeant in the professional standards division. Gilliam previously worked as an investigator in the major crimes unit. She has been serving the county since 2019.
Cody Haithcock has been promoted to field training officer in patrol. Haithcock previously worked as a patrol deputy. He has been serving the county since 2023.
Michael Hentz has been promoted to master deputy in patrol. Hentz previously worked as a patrol deputy. He has been serving the county since 2024.
Brian Hinz has transferred to sergeant in the fugitive task force unit. Hinz previously worked as sergeant in the traffic unit. He has been serving the county since 2001.
Derek Howell has been promoted to inspector in the professional standards division. Howell previously worked as sergeant in the professional standards division. He has been serving the county since 2018.
Terrell Huffaker has transferred to master deputy in patrol. Huffaker previously worked as crime scene investigator. He has been serving the county since 2021.
Jordan Infante has been promoted to master deputy in patrol. Infante previously worked as a patrol deputy. He has been serving the county since 2020.
Ty Katz has been promoted to field training officer in patrol. Katz previously worked as a patrol deputy. He has been serving the county since 2023.
Katelyn Kniphfer has been promoted to an investigator in the major crimes unit. Kniphfer previously worked as a patrol deputy. She has been serving the county since 2021.
J.P. McManus has been promoted to sergeant in the training division. McManus previously worked as a master deputy in the civil division. He has been serving the county since 2013.
Mark Moore has transferred to investigator in the major crimes unit. Moore previously worked as an investigator in the property crimes unit. He has been serving the county since 2016.
Landon Nutt has transferred to field training officer in patrol. Nutt previously worked as a school resource officer. He has been serving the county since 2022.
John Reed has been promoted to senior investigator in the major crimes unit. Reed previously worked as an investigator in the major crimes unit. He has been serving the county since 2007.
Ariel Rios has been promoted to an investigator in the property crimes unit. Rios previously worked as a resident deputy in the Red Bank area. He has been serving the county since 2020.
David Shinn has been promoted to sergeant in detention. Shinn previously worked as master deputy in detention. He has been serving the county since 2022.
Devin Sirois has been promoted to field training officer in patrol. Sirois previously worked as a patrol deputy. He has been serving the county since 2023.
Jason Spears has been promoted to sergeant in the traffic division. Spears previously worked as a master deputy in the traffic division. He has been serving the county since 2013.
Jonathan Spillane has been promoted to field training officer in patrol. Spillane previously worked as a patrol deputy. He has been serving the county since 2023.
